Solmaz has global HR experience across EMEA, America, Asia, and South Asia. She guides the IGC at LSE on international employment matters, ensuring legal compliance for both the UK HUB and globally based individuals. She collaborates with senior managers to develop effective people strategies aligned with organisational goals. She has an MSc in HR Strategy and Development from the University of Westminster; completed the LSE MBA Essentials course and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD). Before joining the IGC at LSE, Solmaz worked with at organisations such as Imperial College, Queen Mary University, Diabetes UK, Medical Research Council, Molinare, and the Charity Commission. Her diverse experience includes HR projects, Reward and Pay, EDI initiatives, and strategic workforce planning.
