Dr. Oswald Mungule is the Senior Member of the Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) with a specialisation in Financial and Monetary Economics. He is currently working at the Bank of Zambia, and he supports the strengthening of the EAZ technical working groups thereby involving all members in the operations of the Club, with an optimally human and financial resourced Secretariat. He believes in the establishment of a robust Secretariat driven by good conditions of service. He is prepared to work for the Association as a shepherd and improve its regional and global standing. He is an expert in green and sustainable finance and in green policies and practitioner of empirically rooted economics and finance works.

 

Oswald started off his career in the banking sector. Later, he ventured into tax administration, then lecturing at universities prior to joining the National Economic Advisory Council and the Bank of Zambia. He has more than 20 years of combined professional experience as an economist, financial and policy analyst, and researcher, including working at Morgan Stanley and Key Bank in Beachwood and Cleveland, respectively, in the United States of America. Oswald is a Fulbright and International Monetary Fund Scholar.
